Alejandra (Alex) McCormick, a cherished resident of San Antonio, passed away on March 14, 2026, at the age of 40.

Born on the Fourth of July in 1985 in Los Angeles, California, Alex grew up in San Diego before moving to Texas. She built a vibrant life and community in both The Woodlands and San Antonio, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Alex was known for her radiant spirit and an ever-present smile. Whether she was sharing a joke, a laugh, singing and playing music, or enjoying great food with her friends and family, her kind-hearted nature was the cornerstone of her personality. She had a unique gift for making those around her feel seen and loved, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jeffrey; her three sons, Daniel, Jeffrey Jr., and John III; her mother, Carolina; and her sisters, Susana and Yazcara (Tollis).
