Amado Jose Adames, Sr.

Amado J. Adames, Sr. born August 13, 1953 went to be with the lord November 25, 2023 at 11:11 a.m. at the age of 70. Amado was known for being a pool playing guru and played for 30 years and was very well known by the nickname of Popeye. He was also an over the road big rig truck driver for 20 years and traveled the USA in an 18-wheeler. He was also known for taking care of his family, being very independent, and blunt with his words.

He is preceded in death by parents Dolores Adames and Guadalupe Adames; siblings, Guadalupe Adames, Jr., Irene Gomez, Amalia Guzman and son Joel Adames. He is survived by his loving children Jeff Adames, Joey Adames, Misty Digges, Krystal Vaughan, Amado Adames, Jr., Daniel Adames, Angel Adames, and Madilynn Adames; sisters; Anilia Hernandez and Janie Medina; as well as 31 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many other family and close friends.
