Garcia October 29, 1960 – August 22, 2025 San Antonio, Texas Andres Arturo Garcia, lovingly known as “Andy” to his family and friends, was born on October 29, 1960, in Laredo, Texas, and passed away on August 22, 2025, in San Antonio at the age of 64.Andy was the kind of person who made you feel like family the moment you met him. Whether through a helping hand, a shared story, or a burst of laughter, he left an unforgettable mark on the lives of everyone he crossed paths with. His spontaneous visits, infectious humor, and adventurous spirit brought joy to every room he walked into. He lived life with heart and soul, always saying, “I’m here for a good time, not a long time.” And true to his word, he brought the good times with him wherever he went.He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Santiago and Martha Garcia, whom he adored deeply, and by his two cherished granddaughters, Melodee Marceline and Autumn Marie.Andy proudly served his country in the United States Army as an aircraft mechanic. He had a gift for working with his hands and could fix, build, or create just about anything. From crafting furniture to restoring cars or remodeling a home, he poured his heart into everything he touched. His faith was the foundation of his life. A devout Catholic, Andy’s relationship with God was unwavering. He walked by faith in all things and never passed a church without making the sign of the cross—day or night, rain or shine. His belief was strong, personal, and ever-present. Above all, Andy’s greatest pride and deepest love was his family—especially his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his three children and sixteen grandchildren: Sarah Victoria Garcia (daughter)Children: Isaiah, Silas, Lilian, Natalie, Ciro, Kali, Ramessess, Majesty Zachariah Andres Garcia (son)Children: Zachariah Jr., Izzabelle, Genesis, Persephone, Exodus, Denali, Athena Andee Elaine Garcia (daughter)Child: Lorenzo He is also lovingly remembered by his siblings: brother -Santiago Jr. and wife Rose, sister- Melissa and husband Ray, brother -Gabriel and wife Shirley, sister- Melinda, brother - Leonel and wife Joyce, sister - Maricela, and brother - David and wife Lorraine. Andy’s spirit, warmth, and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He was a father, a grandfather, a brother, a friend—a bright light in so many lives. Though he is no longer with us in person, his memory will forever guide us, comfort us, and remind us to enjoy every moment. He will be deeply missed and forever loved!
