Benito Ortega

Benito Guzman Ortega was a very kind and caring father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend. On May 19th, 2018 Benito went to be with our Lord at the age of 68 due to natural causes.

His life began when he was born in Lubbock Texas, being the eldest of 8 children. For a large part of his life he had traveled all over the country. He visited places as high as New York, as low as Florida, and as far as California.

Benito will be lovingly remembered by his latest wife of 21 years Florida. His six children Eva, Dina, Matt, Barbara, Virginia, and Kevin. As well as 14 grandchildren, over half a dozen great-grandchildren, and all the lives he's touched by being a martial artist for 50+ years.

A visitation will be held at Chapel Hill on Monday May 28th, 2018 from 5:00-9:00 P.M. and a funeral service the next day on the 29th at 10:00 A.M.
