Betty Walker was a woman of extraordinary warmth, kindness, and boundless generosity.
Known for her big heart, Betty was the type of person who would truly give you the shirt off her back without a second thought. She approached life with a deep work ethic and an unwavering dedication to those around her. She enjoyed fishing and going to the beach.
Betty held a special place in her heart for the magic of Christmas, finding endless joy in the holiday season and sharing that cheer with everyone she knew. Christmas held a magical place in her heart; she embraced the spirit of the holiday through her boundless generosity and the love she shared with those around her. Her gentle nature shone brightest around children and animals-especially dogs, who always found a loyal friend and loving companion in her. Betty walked down the Moonlight Path of life with a focus on the most important things in life.
She is reunited in eternal peace with her beloved husband, Andrew Walker; her mother, Colleen Long; her brother, Mark Long; and her twin sister, Peggy Long.
Surviving family members include her son, Christopher Michael, Lee Long, daughter-in-law Suzanne Long. Her two grandsons, Andrew and Austin Long. Her two great grandchildren, Ezra and Elena Long. Her siblings Kenneth, Robert, Ronnie, Donnie, Debbie Long, Kim Mendoza Long, April Jellison Long.
Betty's legacy of love, hard work, and selflessness will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
