Jandt

Celebrating Bonnie’s Life
Bonnie Lois Jandt, 91, of San Antonio, TX, went to be with Jesus on June 13, 2026. She was born July 6, 1934 in Tahoka, Texas.
Bonnie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her daughters Mitzi Jandt-Everts & husband Anthony K. Everts and Pethrie Aldridge & husband Bradley Aldridge; grandsons Anthony L. Everts, Tyler Everts and Caleb Aldridge; granddaughter Jessica Mitchell and husband Phillip Mitchell; great grandsons Xavier Mitchell and Dean Mitchell; and loving nieces and nephews.
After graduating from San Saba High School, Bonnie married her sweetheart, Erwin, on April 14, 1954, to whom she was married for 69 years. She was a devoted military wife for twenty years and then worked as a bookkeeper for a short while until she decided to devote herself to being a full-time mother and housewife. She spent many years serving in the PTA as President and was awarded an Honorary Life Membership award at the Texas State Capitol building in 1984.
As a devoted Christian, Bonnie attended church with Erwin wherever their military travels led them, until they landed at Kirby Baptist Church where they served on many committees and in many capacities for over 50 years. Her passion was working with children, and she served as the nursery department Chairperson for many, many years as well as serving in Vacation Bible School where she touched the lives of many children and their parents with her loving care.
Bonnie loved church activities, crossword puzzles (expert level only), bowling, Texas sports teams and coffee…lots and lots of coffee! Her love for God, her family, and her church will forever be a part of those she impacted with her generosity of spirit. She will be greatly missed until that wonderful day when we reunite in Glory!
