Cynthia Villanueva

January 22, 1964 — December 2, 2016

Cynthia Marie Villanueva, age 52, went to be with our Lord and Savior on December 2nd, 2016. She was born January 22nd, 1964 to Mary Helen Rodriguez and Domingo Vargas, Jr. in San Antonio, Texas. Cynthia Married Gavino Villanueva, Jr. on March 23rd, 1984 and from this union three children were born. Cynthia lived in San Antonio all her life but traveled often with her family. Cynthia loved Jesus with all her heart and worked at St. Monica's Church watching over all of Jesus's children. Her favorite radio station was K-Love. Cynthia would light up any room she was in, her sense of humor was contagious. The lasting remembrance to her family and friends is her unconditional love for us all. Cynthia has really been a teacher to all of us, teaching us to love others as our Heavenly Father loves us all, so though we have lost a mother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, and a friend - we rejoice that she is eternally blessed and content in the enduring embrace of our Lord Jesus Christ. She is whole and her happiness is unceasing! Cynthia's favorite Bible verse was Psalm 23. She is survived by her husband Gavino, daughters Sarah, Avarie and Natalie Villanueva, Grand daughter Aeris, mother Mary Helen Rodriguez, father Domingo Vargas and brothers Jeffery Vargas, Peter, Daniel, Abraham and John, and sisters Sarah and Denise . Please join us at her Memorial Service on Thursday, December 8th, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The Rosary begins at 7:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd., San Antonio, Tx 78239.
23rd Psalm (King James Version)
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures;
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the path of righteousness in His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil;
For Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies;
Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life;
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
