Daniel Alvarado

Daniel "Danny” Alvarado passed away at the age of 51 on May 14th, 2025 after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his parents Lupe and Aurora Alvarado, his daughters Harper and Finlyn Gabel, his brother Ernest Alvarado (Cyndi), his nieces and nephews Alexis Garcia (Aaron), Aaron Alvarado (Fatima), Jacob Villegas (Miranda), Amanda Reed (Joe), and his great-nieces Faith and Peyton Reed, along with many other close family and friends. Danny was born on December 19th, 1973 in San Antonio, Tx. He graduated from Judson High School in 1992 where he met many lifelong friends and went on to work 25+ years at Methodist Healthcare. He was an avid Houston Astros fan as well as a San Antonio Spurs fan. He took great joy in being a wonderful father to his 2 daughters and enjoyed being around his beautiful family. One of the many passions he had in life was cooking and enjoying a fine tasting meal. Danny's visitation will be held Thursday May 22nd, 2025 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill funeral home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A viewing will be held Friday May 23rd, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill funeral home. The Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
