Donahue “Don” Gibson, Sr., 81, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026. Donahue was born on August 31, 1944, in Yamacraw, KY to parents, Wesley and Adina Gibson.

Donahue was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Gibson; parents, Wesley Gibson and Adina Gibson; sisters, Edna Garret (Noah), Trula Thornton (Pete), Betty Drew (David); brother, James Gibson (Wanda).

He is survived by his children, Brandy Spencer (Roger), Donahue Gibson Jr (Stephanie); sister, Delia Thomas (Earl); brother, Hobert Gibson; grandchildren, Grace, Sadie, Rubie, Declan, Tyler (Laura), Zach, Lyda; great-grandchildren, Silas, Virgil.

On July 11, 1970, he married Linda Gibson (Asche) in Versailles, IN. Don was a veteran of the US Army and worked a Delta Faucet in Greensburg, IN until retiring after 42 years.
