Edward Toepperwein

Edward Stanley Toepperwein, 75, entered eternal rest on December 18, 2016.He was born September 12, 1941 in San Antonio, Texas to Stanley and Vivian Toepperwein. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1959. He worked for seven years at the Federal Reserve Bank in San Antonio, Texas. Following, he worked at IBM as a Typewriter Technician for fourteen years after which he started his own business that he ran until his retirement. He was a long time resident of New Braunfels and an active member in the New Braunfels Conservation Society. He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Shirley (Taylor) Toepperwein, his sons; Michael and Karl Toepperwein and grandchildren Shawn and spouse Alyssa Toepperwein, Ashleigh Toepperwein ; daughters; Lisa and husband Mack Koehler, and grandchildren Amanda and spouse PJ Sanchez and Laci and spouse Frank Moring, and Jodie Toepperwein, Rebecca and husband Mark Webster, and grandchildren Hailey Webster and Hannah Webster, and five great grandchildren Jack, Tanner and David Sanchez, Rylen Heckman and Emmitt Toepperwein, numerous nieces, nephews and beloved friends. Visitation will be at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd., San Antonio, Tx 78239, from 12:00 Noon until 1:30 PM with Rosary at 12:30 PM. A Funeral Service will follow there at 2:00 PM and interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the New Braunfels Conservation Society at 1300 Churchill Drive, New Braunfels, Tx 78130 in Edward's name.
