Elvira Espinoza

Elvira went home to be with our Lord on July 2nd, 2016 at the age of 62 years. She is survived by her mother, Reyna Barrera, daughter Vanessa Guzman, grandson Roger Nicholas Menchaca, brother Tony Barrera (Sohui), sisters Janie Palacios (Robert), Mary Simmons (John), Liz Montoya (Pedro) and many nephews and nieces and extended family and loving friends. She was a nurse and lived for her patients and students. Her family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and dialysis unit that cared for her during the last years of her life. She has left a void in our lives, but we rejoice in God's promise that we will again see her. "...God Himself will be with them and He will remove all of their sorrows and there will be no more death or Sorrow or crying or pain..." Revelation 21:3-4. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation in her name. A memorial service officiated by Pastor Rudy Carrizales is scheduled for Friday, July 8th, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd., San Antonio, Tx 78239.
