Emmita Leal went to be with the Lord in heaven on September 18, 2017 at the age of 84. She was born on August 7, 1933 to Antonio Rodriguez and Elida Ornelas. In 1952, she married the love of her life and together raised 5 children. Emmita helped establish a family business, "Monterrey Bakery" along with her beloved husband Herminio. She is survived by daughter Miriam Leal, sons, Rene Leal, Sergio Leal (Melba); Cesar Leal (Magdalena); 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to send out special thanks to her provider, Marita Villa for the excellent care she provided.
Visitation will be at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd., 78239, on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Chapel Hill Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd., San Antonio, TX 78239.
