Esther Cardenas

Esther Montemayor Cardenas, 54, of San Antonio, Texas, returned to the arms of her Father in Heaven on Friday, April 20, 2018.

Born November 21, 1963 in San Antonio, Texas, she is the daughter of Juanita Arocha Montemayor and José Montemayor. Esther graduated from Aransas Pass High School in 1983 and was a devoted mother to her children.

Esther is preceded in death by her sister, Petra, and her mother, Juanita.
She is survived by her two daughters, Amanda Cardenas of Georgetown, TX, and Joanna Hazen and her husband, Christopher of Salem, OR; her beloved niece, Patricia: her siblings, Rachel, David, Daniel, and José; step-siblings, Sonia and Jesse; half-siblings, James and Elizabeth; her father, José and stepmother, Dora; and one grandson, Miles.
