She especially loved birds and enjoyed feeding them daily.  Emma also enjoyed traveling, playing dominoes and spending time in Vegas, Coushatta and Kickapoo casinos. She loved playing the slot machines, playing Bingo and scratch off tickets.  She was also a wonderful cook and made the best Puerto Rican food ever made.   Florerma was very proud of her family and treasured the memories they created together.

Florerma leaves behind her loving & caring husband of 54 years, Manuel Miro and her beloved children Sandra Suarez (Moses) and Manuel Jr.  of San Antonio.  Florerma is also survived by her precious Grandchildren Jacquelyene Anderson & Robert Anderson. Alexis Acuna (Hama) and great grandson Hezekiah.   She is also survived by her brothers Luis Rivera (Blanca) and Thomas Rivera of San Antonio and Rafael Rivera (Norma) of Puerto Rico.  She is preceded in death of her brother Roberto Rivera of Puerto Rico as well.  Florerma was also loved by her many nieces & nephews, Lenora Sampson (James) great nieces/nephew Arabella, Madeline and James.  Luis Rivera (Crystal) great nephews/niece Elian, Julian & Emila.  Nephew Abnero Rivera, Samil St. Onge(Thomas), Griselle (Jaime) and Rafael Rivera.  She leaves behind many good friends and faithful pets.  She will be greatly missed and forever remembered in our hearts.
