Godfrey Brown

Godfrey Alexander Brown was born December 15, 1947, in Belize Central America, the first son to Hortense Tillett and Clarence Brown Sr. Godfrey passed away on June 29, 2022, surrounded by his loved ones.

Godfrey is survived by his wife, Carmelita Brown, his children, Shamae, Ryan and Christie and the many lives he impacted, both young and old.

Godfrey was a man of quiet strength who led his family by the stellar example of love, dedication, and sacrifice.  He will be missed by all for his ever-jovial disposition and willingness to help in an instant.  If you asked Godfrey, his greatest love was not for sports or his career, but for his children, as well as the many nieces and nephews for whom he was a father figure. We will carry his memory in our hearts forever.
