San Antonio, Texas - Our family's greatest light has returned to the Lord. It is with heavy hearts, yet spirits full of gratitude for a life well-lived, that we announce the passing of Guadalupe De Leon Cisneros, who entered into eternal rest on March 7, 2026. She was 77 years old.
Born in Piedras Negras, Mexico, Guadalupe lived her life as a testament to the power of kindness and service. To know her was to know a love that was both fierce and gentle. A devoted Catholic whose rosary was never far from her reach, her life was a living prayer. She walked through the world with a servant's heart, always seeking ways to lift others up and speaking every word with a gentle, sincere spirit. Her home was a sanctuary of happiness and peace for all who entered.
While her faith was her foundation, her family was her greatest masterpiece. As a doting grandmother, she poured her soul into nurturing the next generation. The heavens granted her one final, beautiful blessing before calling her home: the opportunity to hold and welcome her two newest great-grandsons, Lorenzo and Luca. That moment, seeing her circle of love completed, is a memory her family will carry forever.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Juan Raul Cisneros, Sr; her children, Maria Cisneros, Juan R Cisneros, Jr, Araceli Cisneros.; her cherished grandchildren, Eriq, Alexander, Ahn Jesus, Jose, Ariana, Jeremy, Cristina, Angelica, and Andrew; and her two precious great-grandsons, Lorenzo and Luca.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fidel De Leon and Felicitas De Leon; her son, Ahn Cisneros; and her grandson, John Vicente Brooks.
"Well done, good and faithful servant... enter into the joy of your master." - Matthew 25:23
