Jacinto Madrigal, age 87, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026, surrounded by love. He was born on August 17, 1938, in Villa de Fuente, Coahuila, Mexico, and later made his home in San Antonio, Texas, where he built a life centered on faith, family, and service to others.
Jacinto was a devoted and loving husband to Felipa Borjon, the love of his life, who preceded him in death in 2021. Together they raised a strong and close-knit family. He was a proud father of seven children, one of whom passed before him, and a cherished grandfather to 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy and pride.
A hardworking and determined man, Jacinto owned and operated a construction company for many years. Later in life, he followed his true passion, medicinal plants. Deeply knowledgeable and respected, he shared his healing herbs and wisdom at local flea markets, community events, and conventions. Teaching others came naturally to him, and he gave freely of his knowledge to anyone seeking guidance or healing.
Jacinto was known for his courageous spirit, free heart, and adventurous nature. A deeply religious man, his faith guided his life and grounded his values. Above all else, he loved bringing his family together, sharing stories, laughter, and time that created lasting memories.
Jacinto Madrigal leaves behind a legacy of love, wisdom, faith, and generosity. Though he will be deeply missed, his spirit lives on through his family, his teachings, and the countless lives he touched.
