On July 19, 2025 James was called home to be with the Lord.
James Earl Collier was born on November 27, 1942 to the late Isaac and Cariner Collier in Hope Arkansas.
James graduated from high school in Hope Arkansas where he excelled at football after graduation he moved to Kansas City Missouri.
In 1974 he married Beatrice Collier, and with this union he had three children.
In 1991 he married Betty Collier.
James accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Resurrection Baptist Church. He loved watching old westerns and listening to the blues musicians.
James was proceeded in death by his wife Betty J Collier, ex-wife Beatrice Collier, his brother Ira Lee Collier and son, Michael Collier, stepson Tracy Knox and grandson Derek Philmon.
He leaves to cherish his memory, Sons: Anthony Collier, James Knox Jr
Daughters: Tena Collier, Jacqueline (Larry) Price, Barbara (William) McKinley, Tylena (Elias) Lumpkin, Turquita (Hyle) Roberts
Sister; Bobbie Collier.
A host of grandchildren and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his brothers: Isaac Collier, Roy Collier, and Ray Collier.
