Jennifer Kay Fuhrer, 48, of Converse, Texas, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026, surrounded by family.

She was born on February 28, 1978, in Augusta, Georgia, to James and Evelyn Davenport. Jennifer grew up in Hephzibah, Georgia, and later devoted her life to raising her family.

Jennifer was known for her wild sense of humor and for saying exactly what was on her mind. She loved reading and listening to country music. To those who knew her, she was always the funniest person in the room.

She is survived by her husband, Christopher Fuhrer; her daughter, Shawna; her son, Trenton; and her brothers, Anthony and James. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Jennifer’s memory by spending time with your family and by sharing a story about her with someone you love, as these were the things she valued most.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
