Joaquin Velazquez

Joaquin Miguel Velazquez passed away September 17th, 2016, at the age of 22 years. He was born to Jaime D. Velazquez and Rosemary Velazquez (nee Garcia) in Houston, Texas on March 10th 1994. Joaquin will always be remembered for his great love for baseball, teaching kids to play baseball, the Houston Texans, BBQ with his family and his friends. He loved dancing and the music of Carrie Underwood. Always happy, never mad. He is survived by his parents, his brother, Jaime Velazquez and sister, Cynthia Velazquez. A visitation will be held at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 7737 Gibbs Sprawl Rd., San Antonio, Tx 78239, on Wednesday, September 21st, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church on Thursday, September 22nd, 2016, with interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
