Johnny Humlicek

Johnny Lee Humlicek, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Tuesday, October

13, 2020 at the age of 66. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on November

18, 1953 to Martha G. (Rakowitz) and Milo Humlicek.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Humlicek; son, Johnny Humlicek; Jr.; parents and brother, Ronnie Humlicek.

Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Cortez and husband John; grandchildren, Jessica and Jacqueline Cortez, and Evie Humlicek; two brothers, Larry Humlicek and wife Barbara, aunt, Debbie Humlicek (wife of Ronnie), and David Humlicek and wife Judy; numerous nieces and nephews; and best friend for life, Jack Simon.

Johnny enjoyed riding motorcycles, especially Harley’s. He had a great affection for his granddaughters, whom he loved very much. Johnny spent much of his time, tending the land on his ranch and spending time with his beloved dog, Armani.

Visitation will be held at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home on Sunday, October 18, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. The Burial will follow at the Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
