It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jose Alberto Escobedo, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who passed away peacefully on May 18, 2025, at the age of 64.

He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Escobedo; his son Jose Escobedo and wife Joanna; his daughter Anna Escobedo; and his stepchildren: Mike Garza and wife Dominique, Stephanie Ortiz and husband Salvador Ortiz, and Joseph Garza. He is also survived by his brothers Marco Paredes and Juan Bermudez. He was preceded in death by his mother, María Bermudez.

Jose was a hardworking and visionary man. He graduated from Fox Tech High School and began his career as a sheet metal mechanic at Douglas Boeing in the early 1980s. He later served as a foreman and supervisor at Beldon Roofing and Mangold Roofing, and worked as a contractor for Samual D Roofing. Eventually, he fulfilled his dream of founding his own company: Joe Escobedo Sheet Metal Roofing.

Jose loved sports, especially playing soccer. He was a man of deep faith who dedicated himself to sharing God’s word—often visiting jails to bring encouragement and hope to inmates. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family and helping anyone in need.

His drive and determination paved the way to a successful career. He worked tirelessly to provide the best life for his family and helped many others along the way to do the same.

Jose leaves behind a lasting legacy in his grandchildren: Noe, Raymond, Jocelyn, Heavenly, Serenity, Daydon, Joseph Jr., Tristan, Mikey, Bella Rose, Niko, and Angelie.

Con profunda tristeza, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Jose Alberto Escobedo, esposo, padre, abuelo, hermano y amigo entrañable, quien partió en paz el 18 de mayo de 2025 a la edad de 64 años.

Le sobreviven su esposa, Teresa Escobedo; su hijo Jose Escobedo y su esposa Joanna; su hija Anna Escobedo; sus hijastros Mike Garza y su esposa Dominique, Stephanie Ortiz y su esposo Salvador Ortiz, y Joseph Garza. También le sobreviven sus hermanos Marco Paredes y Juan Bermudez. Le precede en muerte su madre, María Bermudez.

Jose fue un hombre trabajador y visionario. Estudió en Fox Tech High School y comenzó su carrera como mecánico de lámina en Douglas Boeing en los años 80. Más tarde trabajó como capataz y supervisor en Beldon Roofing y Mangold Roofing, además de ser contratista en Samual D Roofing. Con esfuerzo y pasión, fundó su propia empresa: Joe Escobedo Sheet Metal Roofing.

Amaba el deporte, especialmente jugar al fútbol. Su fe era profunda y activa: no solo compartía la palabra de Dios, sino que también visitaba cárceles para llevar esperanza y mensaje a los internos. Pasar tiempo con su familia y ayudar a quienes lo necesitaban fueron siempre sus prioridades.

Su impulso, determinación y generosidad no solo le permitieron alcanzar el éxito profesional, sino que también inspiraron y mejoraron la vida de muchas personas a su alrededor.

Deja un legado de amor y valores en sus nietos: Noe, Raymond, Jocelyn, Heavenly, Serenity, Daydon, Joseph Jr., Tristan, Mikey, Bella Rose, Niko y Angelie.
