Juan Lopez

On the morning of October 23rd, 2015, Juan "Johnny" Trinidad Lopez, beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather passed away peacefully at the age of 66. He was born November 6th, 1948 to Narciso and Fernanda Lopez, who preceded him in death. Johnny will be remembered as a devoted family man who, at the age of 17, dropped out of school to help his mother support her family following the death of his father. At the age of 23 he married Andrellita Sanchez and began a family of his own. Johnny always made sure his family was well taken care of, and no sacrifice was too great. Johnny enjoyed taking vacations with his family, fishing, watching movies, and working on cars. Johnny is survived by his wife of 43 years, Andrellita; sons Robert, Andrew, and Daniel Lopez; daughter Laura Junco; grandchildren Alexis, Santiago, Valencia, Jeovanie, Iziah, Alyza and Dania. In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by 2 sisters and a brother. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Wednesday, October 28th, 2015 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd., San Antonio, Tx 78239. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm, Deacon Tim Tate presiding. A funeral will be held on Thursday, October 29th, 2015 at 11:30 am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, with burial at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
