Our hearts are broken, but heaven has gained a beautiful soul. Join us as we say goodbye to our mother, Judith Jansky, who lived with grace, strength, kindness, and love.

Judith Lee Jansky, 82, joined our Lord on May 15, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Jansky, both formerly of McGregor, Texas. Judy resided in San Antonio with her daughter and son-in-law. Born in Bowling Green, Kentucky, to Herbert and Gladys Short.  Judy is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren: James Leroy Horton, Jr., his wife, Cristi, and their daughters, Judith and Jessica; Janet Lee Garza, her husband, Mike, and her sons, Tyler Waldon and Adam Waldon, who preceded her in death; Jerry Lyn Horton, his wife, Pam, and their children, Justin and Kristen; and John Leslie Horton, his fiancée, Crystal, and his daughter, Vanessa (Blaze). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.

A reception lunch will follow the interment at 12:15 pm - 1:15 pm in the Reception Center at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
