Linda Joyce McReynolds, 64, of San Antonio, passed away on March 12, 2026 to begin her new life with The Lord.

She was born on May 29, 1961, in Perryton, Texas to Donald and Senaida McReynolds.

Linda graduated from Panhandle High School in Panhandle, Texas. Her passion and basketball skills led her to the University of Texas at San Antonio as a member of their inaugural women's basketball team. She completed post-graduate studies at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio.

Prior to her retirement in 2025, Linda had been an educator with the Edgewood School District for 40 years.

Linda enjoyed camping at the many state and national parks she visited throughout the years. She was fond of her Harley motorcycles, riding both locally and on her numerous trips to Sturgis during summer vacations. However, her favorite vacation destination was Santa Fe, New Mexico where she spent days and evenings enjoying the mountain view and exquisite, New Mexican cuisine.

Linda is survived by her partner, Maria Esmeralda Moreno, her mother, Senaida Wyrwich and brother, Patrick (Judy) McReynolds. As well, as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald McReynolds and brother, Michael (Pam) McReynolds.
