Lyla Melstrom

Lyla Melstrom of San Antonio, Texas passed away suddenly on October 30, 2021 at the age of 46.  She was born on February 27, 1975 In North Platte, Nebraska to Randall Keith and Kathy Clang.

Her early childhood was spent in North Platte Nebraska.  She attended North Platte High School.  She relocated to San Antonio, Texas in 2008.

Lyla was employed at Reaching Maximum Independence she was a hard worker.  She helped people with daily activities.  She spent most of her time caring for others before she cared for herself.  She was a mother to all who came across.  She enjoyed spending time video chat with her grandchildren.  She loved being surrounded by all her family and friends.

She is survived by her mother Kathy Clang of North Platte, Nebraska and her brother Dustin Poochke of Overton, Nebraska, children Corbin Drake, Daniel Price, JaySean Sutton of San Antonio, Texas, and Nathaniel Drake of North Platte, Nebraska, grandchildren, Bryan and Cooper Drake of North Platte, Nebraska.

She is preceded in death by her brother Bryan Dixon and her grandparents Stella and Fred Keith and her husband Greg Melstrom.
