Maria Guadalupe Galan was born on May 19, 1955, and passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026. She will be remembered for the sacrifices she made for her children, her generous spirit, and the many ways she brought her family together. Maria loved her children more than anything and was always there whenever they needed her. She raised her children in Mexico and worked hard to give them a better life, making many sacrifices along the way. She had a generous heart and never hesitated to help those she loved. She enjoyed cooking delicious Mexican food, caring for her grandchildren, taking trips to the casino, and bringing everyone together. She cherished time spent with her family, whether in Mexico or San Antonio, as well as the friendships she made throughout her life. She especially enjoyed the heartfelt conversations and laughter shared with those around her.

She was deeply devoted to her Catholic faith and found joy in the people and moments that mattered most to her. She was preceded in death by her father, Nicholas Perez Garcia; her husband, Marco Polo Galan; and her youngest son, Ricardo Galan.

She is survived by her mother, Jovita Terrazas; her sons, Marco Polo Galan, Jr. (Stephanie), Leo Galan (Melissa), and Ernesto Galan; her grandchildren, Miracle Galan, Kylie Galan Cardenas (Kobe), Liliana Galan, Briana Galan, and Ashton Galan; and her great-grandchildren, Dallas Cardenas and Genesis Cardenas. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
