Mary Chivers

Mary Delvina Chivers passed away at her home on Monday the 22nd of October 2018 at the age of 56. She was the daughter of Murray Hennigar and Arlene Moran Hennigar, born on November 20th, 1961 in Bangor Maine.  Her family moved to Texas when Mary was about three months old. She attended and graduated from Roosevelt High School.

Mary was preceded in death by her father Murray, a sister Christine,  her Step-dad Bob Tankersley and her sister in-law Michelle Hennigar.

She is survived by her Mother Arlene Moran Tankersley, her husband James Chivers Jr., daughter Morgan Compton, seven siblings including five brothers – Ray, Mike and spouse Deanna, Carl, Jim and spouse Tina, Mark and two sisters – Michelle and Melanie and spouse Dave along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

Mary D, so lovely. So loving and so loved! Will be forever in the hearts of those of us who loved her.

There will be a Memorial for Mary this Friday, October 26th from 2:00pm-5:00pm at the Chapel Hill Memorial Park Funeral Home and Crematory located at 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Road, San Antonio, TX  78239. Phone: 210 655-6411. Information for a second Memorial will be forthcoming.

The family request, instead of flowers, a small donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Shriner’s Children Hospital.
