Michael Wayne Womack

Michael Wayne Womack, age 63, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2025. He was born on June 3, 1962, in San Antonio to the late Robert Womack and Dorothy Bird.

Michael graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1980. On August 18, 2004, he married the love of his life, Barbara Lindon-Womack, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together they built a beautiful life with their children, Shannon Lindon Parker, James Lindon, and Michael Lindon.

For over 20 years, Michael worked alongside his younger sister, Laurie Womack-Perriman, and brother-in-law, Rick Perriman, at their family mechanic shop. He was known not only for his hard work but for the love and laughter he brought into the shop each day.

Michael’s happiest moments were spent soaking up the sun at the river or the beach, enjoying good music—especially rock and roll—and being surrounded by family. His greatest joy came from time with his grandchildren: Korbin Lindon, Hunter Parker, Taylor Parker, and Cody Carver. He also cherished his nieces: Ricki Perriman-Stevens, Kaitlynn Perriman-Williamson, Cassandra Womack, Jennifer Womack-Gadbaw, and Tabitha Helms-Stapleton.

Michael now joins his late siblings in heaven: Randy Womack, Ricky Womack, Sherrie Womack-Helms, and Debbie Womack.

He will be remembered for his big heart, love of life, and devotion to family. While his presence will be deeply missed, we take comfort in knowing he is at peace, reunited with loved ones, and forever watching over his family.
