Nidia C.
Stewart
Aug 9, 1954 — Aug 15, 2026
With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Nidia Concepcion Stewart on August 15, 2026, at Brooke Army Medical Center at the age of 72. Nidia, born in Reynosa, Nuevo León, Mexico, lived a fulfilling life abroad, settling in San Antonio, Texas. She will be fondly remembered for her warm heart, joyful spirit, and loving personality. Nidia has joined her mother, father, and brother in Heaven.
Nidia was a devoted wife to her husband of 50 years, Dennis, and a loving mother and grandmother to her two children, Dennis and Jackie. She also has five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by her five sisters, whom she adored.
Nidia had a deep love for the color yellow, a reflection of the joy and brightness she brought to the lives of those around her. She found immense joy in taking care of her plants, cooking, and had a special fondness for ladybugs, which brought a touch of happiness to her days. Her memory will live on through every flower that blooms and every little ladybug that reminds us of her loving and joyful spirit.
