Opal Beyer

Opal Alma Bendele Beyer joins our Father in His heavenly kingdom on Wednesday, March 1, 2018.  Opal was preceded in death by her loving husband Chester W. Beyer Sr., her father and mother William and Alma Bendele, brothers Elmo Bendele, Albert Bendele, Richard Bendele, sisters Zedelle Boehle, Irene Stiles and Willa May Bowen.  She is survived by her son Dr. Chester W. Beyer Jr. and wife Sherrie, daughter Brenda Sue Beyer Cobb.  Grandchildren Alex Sills, Kevin W. Cobb and wife Tiffany Cobb, Kimberly S. Cobb Sales and husband Lewis "Buddy" Sales and two great grandchildren Nolan A. Cobb and Katelyn A. Cobb.

Opal was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church, S.A. Professional Woman of American and worked at Sam Houston H.S. in the S.A.I.S.D., Investment Clubs Dallas.  She started Luke's Pantry at Northwest Bible Church in Dallas for Seminary students.

Her family is proud to carry on her legacy and she will be incredibly missed.  She was a wonderful woman who cared deeply for others and her loved ones.  She will continue to watch over them.

A funeral service in memory of Opal will be held, March 10 at 1pm with interment to follow:
