Patricia “Pat” Gregory, 89, of Schertz, Texas, entered into eternal rest on May 2, 2026. Her journey began in Hornell, New York, where she was born to Robert and Helen Congdon on August 18, 1936.

A woman of spirit and service, Pat joined the United States Air Force following high school. It was during her service that she met Samuel (Gaius) Gregory; they began a life together that spanned seven decades, recently celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary.

Pat’s favorite role was that of a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved the adventure of living abroad, particularly the years spent in England where she welcomed her three children into the world. Her warmth extended to a large circle of family and friends, all of whom shared in her long and vibrant life.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, four siblings, and grandson, Forrest. Her legacy lives on through her husband, Samuel; her children, Sam, Tim, and Jeanine; her eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to a Rosary on May 18th at 6:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd, San Antonio, TX. A committal service will take place on May 19th at 10:15 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, Shelter 2.
