Stanley Sellers

Navy Corpsman, Stanley (Doc) Sellers, passed peacefully in San Antonio, Texas on March 20th, 2021.  A veteran of the Vietnam War, he was awarded the Purple Heart.  He served as a hospital corpsman attached to the 3rd Marine division, 3rd Recon Battalion Vietnam.

Doc was a brave and loyal soldier, as well as a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and he wore those titles with pride.

He is survived by his wife of over 54 years, Rita Sellers; his two daughters Theresa and Sherri; his son-in-law Adolph; his grandchildren Tiffany, Jeremie, Maranda, Chace, Chyanne, and Sarah; and his great grandchildren Giovanni and Araceli.

The Viewing and Funeral Service will be held at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home on April 27, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., followed by the Service at 11:00 a.m. Due to COVID restrictions, the burial will be held privately at Ft Sam at 2:00 p.m.
