Trudy Louise Torbet was born on the 17th day of December in 1938. She passed away the 16th day of October 2017. She was Baptized and a lifelong member of McKenley Avenue Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years Ronald H. Torbet, her parents Lester A. Self & Audrey Self all of which lived in Marion, Texas.
She is survived by her son Ronald C. Torbet, wife Donna & grandchildren Hughston & Jennifer of San Antonio, Texas. Daughter Michelle L. VanderWaal, husband William of Seguin Texas. Grandson Gerard, wife Billie & great grandchildren William & Charlotte which reside in Virginia. Her sister Judith L. Reitzer, husband Joel, nephew Jason & great nephews Jaden & Julian which reside in Florida. She was a loving wife, mother & grandmother who enjoyed gardening & yard work. Trudy also worked as Executive Secretary for Bexer County Tax Assessor Office for 20 years and retired in 1993.
Visitation 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, Thursday, October 19, 2017. Graveside Services for Family at 2:00 p.m.
