Jose Banda Lopez

Jose Francisco Banda Lopez, of Converse, passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at the young age of 32. He was born in Mexico, on November 13, 1988 to Juana Maria (Lopez) and the late Dagoberto Banda.

He is preceded in death by his father, grandparents, Bartolo Banda, Julia Castillo, and Francisco Lopez, and uncle, Jesus Banda.

Survivors include his children, Senaida Banda and Jose Banda, Jr.; mother, Juana Maria Banda; siblings, Hector Banda and wife Ruby, and Dagoberto Banda, Jr., and wife Erica; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Banda, Dagoberto Banda, III, Jocelyn Banda, Jacob Banda, Aaron Banda and Kelly Banda; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jose was a loving father, wonderful son and faithful brother. Never afraid of hard work and always willing to help others, Jose was a thoughtful man to his family and friends. He was intelligent and enjoyed listening to music, especially Banda.

His family and friends will never forget him. Those that knew and loved him will miss him greatly.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home beginning at 4:00 p.m., with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. and visiting hours to end at 9:00 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., with the Rites of a Christian Burial to follow at the Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
